Notice at collection. BloxClips collects account identifiers, creator profile information, submitted video links and performance metrics, payout method information, support messages, tax form information, and security data needed to operate the Service. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

  • Government identity or verification information where required for tax or compliance checks. BloxClips may use third-party providers to validate this information and does not intentionally keep copies of government ID documents unless legally required or explicitly disclosed at collection.

3.4 Communications and support

  • Public video platforms and platform APIs, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Roblox public endpoints.
  • Service providers that help with hosting, analytics, email, storage, scraping, payments, tax compliance, fraud prevention, and security.

5. How We Use Information

  • Operate the Service, authenticate users, and maintain account security.
  • Review creator submissions and track video performance for campaign payouts.
  • Calculate earnings, process creator payouts, and prevent payout fraud.
  • Collect and validate tax information, generate tax forms, support IRS reporting, and maintain required financial records.
  • Provide support, send transactional emails, and notify users about campaigns, payouts, account status, and tax form status.
  • Detect abuse, duplicate accounts, view manipulation, sanctions issues, account restrictions, and other prohibited activity.
  • Improve site performance, debug errors, and understand aggregate product usage.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

6. Cookies And Analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, protect account security, remember preferences, support referrals, and operate core features. These cannot be disabled without affecting the Service.

We also use limited analytics and performance tools, including Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, to understand aggregate usage and site performance. We do not use advertising pixels and we do not use session replay or heatmap tools.

You can manage optional analytics preferences through our cookie controls where available. Browser cookie controls may also allow you to delete or block cookies, but blocking necessary cookies may break the dashboard.

7. YouTube API Services

BloxClips uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public video and channel information needed for creator verification, submission review, and campaign tracking, such as video title, duration, thumbnails, view count, like count, comment count, and channel/profile details.

By using features that rely on YouTube data, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke Google account access, where applicable, through the Google security settings page.

8. Third-Party Providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service, comply with law, process payouts, verify tax information, prevent fraud, and provide support. The main providers currently reflected in our codebase include:

  • Discord and Google for account login.
  • Vercel for frontend hosting, analytics, and speed insights.
  • DigitalOcean and Cloudflare for backend hosting, DNS/proxy, security, and storage.
  • PostgreSQL database providers such as Neon or Supabase-compatible hosted Postgres.
  • Resend for transactional email.
  • Apify for TikTok and Instagram scraping needed for public creator/video metrics.
  • YouTube Data API for YouTube video and channel data.
  • Stripe, PayPal, and NOWPayments for creator payouts.
  • Tax1099 or successor tax-compliance providers for TIN matching and tax reporting support.
  • Roblox public endpoints for game thumbnails and public game information.

9. Payments And Tax Compliance

BloxClips uses payment providers only for creator payouts. We do not use Stripe for brand advertising tracking, and we do not sell payment information.

PayPal payout setup stores the PayPal email address needed to send creator payouts. Stripe and NOWPayments may process additional payout data according to their own privacy terms.

Tax information is used for IRS and tax compliance, tax form generation, TIN matching, backup withholding decisions where applicable, audit records, and legally required reporting. Tax and payout records may be retained even if you request account deletion where retention is required by law.

10. No Sale Or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use advertising pixels, targeted advertising cookies, or cross-context behavioral advertising tools on the Service.

If we add advertising pixels or targeted advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out controls before using them.

11. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and business records.
  • Tax records, payout records, tax form PDFs, and related audit records are retained for at least seven (7) years where required for tax, legal, and compliance purposes.
  • Support messages and moderation records are retained as needed for support, safety, audit, and dispute handling.
  • Analytics and performance data are generally retained for no more than thirty-six (36) months in identifiable form.
  • Backups may retain deleted information for up to ninety (90) days after deletion from active systems.
  • Legal holds, fraud investigations, or tax obligations may require longer retention.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS in transit, access controls, audit logging, encryption at rest from infrastructure providers, and application-layer encryption for sensitive tax identifiers where stored by us.

No system is perfectly secure. You should protect your Discord, Google, PayPal, Stripe, email, and wallet accounts and notify us if you believe your BloxClips account has been compromised.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California and other U.S. state privacy laws may also provide rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, and limit use of sensitive personal information.

Because we do not sell personal information or use targeted advertising, sale/sharing opt-out requests generally do not apply to current Service operations. We will honor legally valid Global Privacy Control signals if we later enable technology that requires such an opt-out.

Tax, payout, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be exempt from deletion where retention is required or permitted by law.

14. How To Contact Us Or Exercise Rights

15. Children And Teens

The Service is not intended for children under thirteen (13). If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under thirteen without required consent, we will delete it. Users under the age of majority must use the Service with parent or guardian consent.

16. International Users

Creators from any country may use the Service where allowed by law. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from your home country.

17. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another legally appropriate method. The effective date above shows when this version became effective.
